Moshe Halfon played “World Music” before the term was invented, at clubs, schools and organizations throughout the US, Brazil, and Israel. Roots in blues, folk and rock, but he also sings in Spanish, Portuguese, Ladino, Hebrew, Arabic, and Yiddish. In addition to guitar and dulcimer, he is an accomplished Middle Eastern and Afro-Brazilian percussionist. On the mainland he is a prison chaplain, rabbi, cantor, and Reiki Master healer. His 2001 album "Let There Be Light" is used by healers and communities worldwide. He will perform a free benefit concert on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 6:30 at St. Michael’s for the Jewish Community of Kauai. This is his third Kauai trip, and he is looking to jam, drum, sit in with, study and woodshed with musicians of all backgrounds.
