Big Island artist Keikilani Lindsey emerges as the product of more than 5 generations of paniolo cowboys, musicians, and composers. Critically acclaimed as Hawaii’s brightest new World Music artist, he is a lover of most every musical genre. Keikilani celebrates his passion for ‘ohana and culture by continuing to ‘holo mua’ (move forward) in his unique interpretations of classic family compositions and traditional Hawaiian favorites.
​Keikilani’s new full-length album entitled “Meleʻuhane” (Spirit of Song), debuting in mele.com’s TOP 10 for February 2014, features 11 original songs and a haunting rendition of his great-aunt’s (Helen Lindsey Parker) ‘Olu o Pu’ulani’.

In his deep affection for ‘ōlelo Hawai’i (Hawaiian language), Keikilani lends a new spin to ‘haku mele’ (Hawaiian songwriting) and joins a new generation of Hawaiian stortytellers endeavoring to explore the many untold tales of the heart… and rendering a song for each emotion.
