... at the Kauai Music Festival in 2012. They released a music video for "Trouble" also off the "Alive" EP in 2013.
Paradox Lockdown was formed in 2010 by two original members, Cameron Williamson and Jonathan Obiano. The two met in middle school and began writing their first song "What's Wrong With Us" when they were both 13. They produced a demo of the song at the time. After a failed attempt to get more members, fate intervened and led them to Zack Silva, drummer. The three hit it off and began working on their first EP almost immediately. "Battlefield of Broken Hearts" came out in the spring of 2011 to a strong following and radio airplay.
With two solid songwriters, Cameron and Jonathan, the band has been able to charge forward with a second EP "Alive" in 2012. Joined by rapper Str8Lyrical (aka Ion Avadanei, who also appeared on the first EP), the band is combining their strong melodies, beats and bass lines with streetwise lyrics to make an exciting new sound that crosses genres and generations. In 2012, bass player and long-time friend, Kai Olson was added to round out the band. Eric Rivera joined the group in 2013 on lead guitar.
Their new full-length CD "Dateless In July" will be released in November of 2013.
