As a transplant to Kauai from north Idaho as an adolescent, Cameron has been blessed with many different musical and life experiences that have helped mold him into the versatile music lover and performer he is today. Always choosing quality over quantity, he creates music with talented individuals who have like-minded goals and musical aspirations. Cameron always strives to bring his excitement, love and passion for music to whatever venue he is invited to play. Loving to make people dance as well as feel, and think about the lyrics are equally important to him.
Cameron got his musical career started on Kauai at the age of 17 with local ska, punk and reggae band “Johnny Five.” This project led to working with other local bands such as “The Roaring Hamster, “ “P.M.R.F., “ “Tribal,” and Applesauce.” While living in Seattle, Cameron gigged and recorded with the Grammy nominated project “Nichole Halleen & The Projects” as well as being featured on Seattle artist Cody Lucero’s song “What If.”
A full time resident on the garden isle, Cameron is currently the front man and saxophone player for the funk and rock fusion band “ Applesauce.” In addition to playing live music, Cameron also works as a professional DJ and Emcee both independently and with local business, Kustom Sounds Kauai, for the past ten years.
